Christine has worked as a dentist in private dental practice in Bray and Greystones since coming to Ireland in 2000. Prior to that she worked in the UK in the Royal Navy, private and NHS practice. Her focus has always been a patient centred, preventive approach to general dentistry.
She has a kind and approachable nature and especially enjoys treating children and nervous patients. Christine provides preventive, conservative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry including teeth whitening, oral surgery, periodontal (gum) treatments and endodontics (root canal treatments).
Christine is committed to continuing professional education and is a member of the IDA (Irish Dental Association) and IFGDP (Irish Faculty of General Dental Practice).
Martha joined the practice in February 2012 and provides comprehensive general dental treatments. She is especially talented with nervous patients. While she is an excellent clinician, it is her compassionate nature and gentle approach that her patients appreciate the most. Martha is delighted to offer Saturday appointments and also works late 3 days a week to be as convenient as possible to her clients.
Martha graduated with an honours degree from University College Cork in 2010. She then spent a year working as a Vocational Trainee in London, working in a busy general practice, before returning to Ireland in 2011 to take up a post as a Senior House Officer in the Dublin Dental University Hospital. While working as a house officer, she gained a lot of experience working in the emergency department. After completing this year, she decided to seek a position in general practice as she enjoys the variety of work and meeting different people in general practice. A member if the Irish Dental Association, Martha has a keen interest in postgraduate education, and has recently completed her MFDS (Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery) examination.
Dr. Hone was born and raised in Dublin and qualified from The Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in Medicine in 1990. After completing his Internship, Dr. Hone returned to College to study Dentistry, qualifying with an Honors Degree from Trinity College Dublin in 1994.
He went on to train in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the UK, where he achieved the Fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons London Award in both – Dental Surgery and General Surgery – in 1997. Dr. Hone then began a three year Specialist Orthodontic Training Program at Guys Hospital London, completing his Specialist Orthodontic Training in 2002. He was also awarded a Membership in Orthodontics from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
David offers a free initial consultation and provides a full range of Orthodontic treatments including 3-6 month options, “invisible” braces and full arch fixed appliances.
Dr Maggie Laird graduated with honours from the Dublin Dental University Hospital, Trinity College Dublin. Maggie went on to undertake a House Officer post in Dublin Dental Hospital during which time she was awarded membership of the Faculty of Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She spent some time working in an award winning private practice in Carlow, before moving to London to spend 5 years in private practice in Wimbledon.
Maggie enjoys continuing education and looks to bring her patients the highest standard of care in a relaxed, comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Maggie completed her Masters in Restorative Dentistry in 2016 which focused on minimally invasive dentistry and evidence based dental treatment. She is able to provide all aspects of general dentistry and cosmetic dental treatments including teeth whitening and natural looking tooth coloured fillings, crowns and veneers. She has a passion for providing her patients with beautiful and natural smiles with minimal tooth preparation by using the latest technologies in adhesive dentistry.
Known for her warm and friendly nature she is particularly popular with our nervous patients and patients who have not seen the dentist in a long time. This gentle and caring approach has allowed many patients who had previously been put off dentistry to regain their confidence and achieve their dental goals. Maggie is also great with children, creating a welcoming atmosphere for children to start their dental journey.
Maggie is passionate about encouraging life-long oral health and loves to spend time with her patients teaching them how to look after their dental health..
Clare qualified from University College Cork in 2018 with an Honours degree in Dentistry. She then
spent 2 years working in a mixed NHS/private practice in London gaining lots of experience working
in general practice.
Clare enjoys all aspects of working in general practice particularly treating children and nervous
patients. She also completed a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry from the RCSI and hopes to do
further training in the future to keep on top of the latest and best treatment options for patients.
When not working Clare likes to travel, read and spend time with friends and family at home in Cork.
As a new convert to the area she is looking forward to spending more time in Greystones!
